Fruity Smoothie Bowl

Fruity Smoothie Bowl

Trendy and healthy, so are the soup-style smoothie bowls.
Full of vitamins and minerals, such a smoothie bowl is certainly a delight for your eyes and taste buds.

If you haven't heard of smoothie bowls yet, let me tell you - they are simply delicious, so quickly made and they provide you with a huge portion of power throughout the day.

Smoothie bowls are extra thick.
You eat them with a spoon, they are packed with leafy greens, fruits or other superfoods and you can top them with all sorts of colourful delicacies.
You can vary them according to your current mood, season or content of your fridge or freezer.

Currently we have delicious blackberries and raspberries in our garden.
So I decided to mix them right in my bowl.
You can either use them right from the bush or freeze them in advance.

I've used frozen berries today.
This is really refreshing and tastes a little like ice cream.

I can only recommend you to always have some greens like spinach or kale and fruits like bananas, mangoes, pineapples, berries, etc. at hand in your freezer.

In winter you can, for example, play more with nuts, cinnamon, cocoa, cardamom or winter fruits.

Since I'm lacking a little time at the moment, I'm always glad to have my Vitamix.
That makes it really easy to mix up a quick meal in no time, which is delicious and also healthy.

By the way: I have a passion for all creative things.
Decorating smoothie bowls is lots of fun.
It's good to always have a small supply of toppings at hand.

Just last week, I bought a lot of nice storage glass jars with my son, which are now nicely filled and placed in our kitchen.

However, our smallest son loves how the jars are displayed now and whenever noone watches he likes to serve himself.
Well as long as it's healthy :).

Soak up the warm late-summer days and enjoy a divine smoothie bowl.
