Fast Rosemary - Pumpkin - Fries

Before you turn all your pumpkins into funny Halloween monsters, we quickly want to show you a pumpkin recipe for hasty ghosts.

We could harvest four pumpkins in our garden this year. Jipiiee!
It may not sound much to you, but we are very happy about it.

In intact nature like here, there are always wolverines that are faster than us.
Thus, for a decade, we already have to fight with these slimy beasts that devour our little plants.

Since we benefited from the warm weather this season, our pumpkins have grown faster than the snails could eat them.

Finally, we can process our own pumpkins.

Here is our recipe for you - fresh from the oven - rosemary pumpkin fries.

Deliciously tempting and simply irresistible.

Fast Rosemary - Pumpkin - Fries

Fast Rosemary - Pumpkin - Fries

Ingredients:

  • 1 pumpkin
  • some oil
  • spices to taste (sea salt, rosemary, Camasio or chilli for those who prefer it spicy)

Instructions:

  1. Cut the pumpkin in half, peel, remove the seeds and cut into the desired size.
  2. Put the pumpkin fries in a pot (with lid) and add the oil and spices.
  3. Put the lid on and shake thoroughly.
  4. Lay the fries on a lined baking tray (in a single layer).
  5. Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  6. Enjoy right from the oven to keep the crispness.

Notes:

Try our fries with sweet potatoes. This tastes delicious as well.
Enjoy with our spicy salsa sauce or mango sauce.
