The Best Homemade 5 Minute - Popcorn

The Best Homemade 5 Minute - Popcorn

Another eventful weekend lies behind us.
We enjoyed the great weather, cooked delicious food and we went to the mouse-open-door day (from the "Mouse TV") where we were allowed to plunge into the world of film and music.

We took a look at a grand piano with its entire 8000 individual parts and could also peek behind the scenes of a movie theater in areas which are usually not accessible to customers.

It was super exciting for all of us.

Next year we will definitely join the open-door day again.

In the cinema, we were also allowed to take a quick look into the popcorn kitchen.

This brings me to the topic of today's article - our healthy 5 minute - popcorn.

In fall, when the days become shorter, we spend more time inside.
On the weekends, we love to sit all together and enjoy our own movie night.

Thereby, our children like to snack on popcorn.

With the right preparation homemade popcorn can be a healthy satisfying snack.
Plain whole kernel popcorn is full of health benefits.

It contains a full range of grain, is high in fiber, B vitamins, potassium, and antioxidants.

If you use organic popcorn and don't smother it in unhealthy junk, you can enjoy it without regret.

Another important note for microwave - popcorn:
This popcorn is usually packed with harmful substances such as unhealthy oils, sugar and other additives.

Moreover, it is mixed with aromas such as diacetyl (an artificial butter flavor), which is known for causing lung diseases.

With homemade popcorn, you're on the safe and healthier side.

We wish you a cozy home movie night!

Best wishes and a nice beginning of the week.
