Rolled vegetables - Rice Paper Wraps

Rolled vegetables - Rice Paper Wraps

Sunny Monday to you!

Close to the end of the summer, we were still rewarded with the best weather the last weekend.

Therefore, we thought to show you a summery wrapping variant for fresh vegetables.

Perhaps you have already noticed that we love to wrap our food.
It starts with Crêpes, over Sushi and today happens to be in rice paper.

These rice paper rolls are super easy to make and very quickly conjure a great Asian dish onto your plate.
The ingredients such as rice noodles and rice paper can be bought at any Asian store in many variations.

Served with a tasty sauce, you can eat it as a starter or main dish.

For parties they also bring an exotic touch to your table and the guests will be impressed by the colorful rolls.

As a snack, they can be perfectly prepared in advance.

Those of you who rather prefer a warm meal; can briefly steam or fry them.

Another quick tip at the end:

Those who cannot make friends with rice paper, can for instance easily wrap all the ingredients in iceberg lettuce leaves.
Secure with a toothpick and you are ready to go.

Iceberg lettuce is an excellent salad which we eat almost every day, mostly on bread or just like that. It remains fresh and crisp and contains many vitamins and minerals.

Have a lot of fun wrapping your fresh vegetables now!

To a sunny start of the week!

Are you a fan of wrapping your food?
Which is your favorite method?
